DIY Night

December 14th, 2009 at 09:04am SarahAbramson

Thursday evening we had a blast on the seventh floor assembling various paper creations. I led my dedicated participants in paper-model pin making. Before the event I had assembled several of the brooches myself, and I found them quite difficult to make (even though I have made dozens of these not to mention I designed the pattern). However- the visitors at the DIY party wanted a paper brooch, and they all walked away with a variation on their goal.
Come by and visit if you would like to assemble your own paper-model pin with me! Tuesdays.

    Hi Irina,

Send a email to info@madmuseum.org with a brief bio, a link to some of your work examples, and a brief workshop description. Our program coordinator will review and contact you for follow up.

    Thanks for reading.

    [EDIT]
Oops – didn’t read your comment closely enough. Irina, someone from our education department will contact you today about scheduling a workshop. For future reference, all of the information on school workshops and tours is listed under tours on madmuseum.org.
