Bye to all

I can’t believe this internship at MAD is almost over. I really had a good experience while I was here. I learned a lot about art that I never knew and how a museum works and all the different departments. While being at this internship I learned how to organize and plan a public program for high school students and how to give a tour of the museum (I was ok for my first tour). At this internship I gained a lot of work experience and enjoyed all the places that we went. Last Friday we went to the Andy Warhol exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum.
I’m going to really miss this place. The people in this museum are really wonderful. Everyone knows each other and its like a big family. I enjoy going on the Friday trips. They are really awesome. I went to places that I’ve never been before and I enjoyed like Governers Island, the New Museum and the Rockwell Group etc. I enjoyed the company of my supervisor Bobby and the college intern Zoe. Also I had a great time with the 7 people that got chosen for this internship including me. They made me laugh, get out of my comfort zone and have a great time. Leaving this place on Friday makes me want to stay longer and get involved in more programs at the museum. I had a really great experience and fun time with all.
Thanks to Cathleen and Bobby for picking me to be part of this wonderful summer internship.
