Cavalieri & Crumb: Part 17

August 12th, 2010 at 07:35am Joseph Cavalieri

When I showed the comp of this design to Mr. Crumb he said there are probably only one or two people that will like this piece. I must admit it is rather odd. It shows a typical R. Crumb strong legged female figure being eaten by a volcano. Strange sounds are coming out of the top. I’m not really sure if they are eating sounds or choking! About 80% finished with it and it is my favorite… I just need to figure out a title for it! (suggestions are welcome)

The detail shot shows the ring saw I use for my more intricate glass cuts.
