Hello once again……….

This week was a very busy week , however it was also very amusing. We worked with Cathy in a jewelry workshop which was really fun. I learned about the process that is required of making a piece of jewelry. It was quite an intense process as we had to do all the twisting, cutting, filing, and braiding of the metal and much more. There were different tools used for doing these things and learning how to use such tools was very helpful. I am very pleased  for having my piece completed despite the fact that it did not turn out the way I wanted. 

We also worked on our goblets which was very fun at the beginning but later seemed like a very tedious task. I had to work for extra hours as it was very difficult to keep the pieces steady and to prevent it from breaking. I had difficulty making it exactly the way I wanted as clay seems to be very sensitive with weight. We still have to glaze them which I  think will be very fun.

As Marisa had promised me she did have work for me this week and it was really nice working with her. I basically searched for the news about our museum and printed them and saved them on the computer. I also wrote down information about two specific bikes on exhibition and typed it up and mailed off the documents. I am looking forward to working with her next week.
