Maddy, Mad, Mad, – from Ruth Marshall

Why did I wear heels to the museum today? Especially when I knew I was going to be running around a lot.
A great thing about having a ‘studio’ in the museum is that you can use it like a studio!!! My own private studio, (where people just happen to walk through.) The point being – I don’t have a studio to work in, I work at home, which means no wall space. My photographer rented out her studio, so we had nowhere to shoot. Solution- MAD Museum!! Perfect! So my 6 ocelot knitted pelts, 1 tiger cub pelt, and work-table shots of the pelts as a cornucopia of knitted textiles, plus a few shots of me with my work, & with works in progress, and voila! I’ve documented my most recent work from the last year, plus I got to meet some more cool visitors.
So, I go home a tired puppy with sore feet, and a few dollars poorer for the fresh 36 images of my recent work, but I’m very happy that I could utilize the space given to me and I look forward to sharing my work! (primarily on ruthmarshall.com.)

I look forward to seeing the pictures!
Berlin is too far to easily visit MAD and viewing via images is as close as I can get in the next two months. Ruth, I am very excited to see what you do with this wonderful opportunity!
